You provide to us:
Contact details (name, email, phone).
Event details (event type, estimated group size, preferred date, venue, venue address, budget range, how you heard about us, notes).
Messages you send via forms or email.
(If payment is enabled later) order details; payment is processed by a third-party processor—we do not store credit card numbers.
Testimonials & photos you choose to submit (with your consent for sharing).
Automatically collected:
Basic device and usage data (browser type, pages viewed, time on site, referring URLs, approximate location).
Cookies and similar technologies that help the site function, remember your preferences, measure traffic (Google Analytics), and—if you allow it—help us measure/serve ads (Meta Pixel). See Cookies & Consent below.
HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
Provide quotes and services (respond to inquiries, plan events, process bookings).
Operate the site (troubleshoot, analytics, security).
Communicate (send confirmations, updates, and—if you opt in—news and promotions).
Personalize & improve (understand what content visitors find helpful).
Marketing & measurement (if you allow Marketing cookies, we may measure or improve ads).
Legal & safety (comply with law; protect our rights and users).
WHERE YOUR DATA LIVES (SERVICE PROVIDERS)
We use trusted vendors to run our business. For example:
Website & CRM/Email: Our site and contact forms are hosted on Systeme.io. When you submit a form, your details are stored in our contact database and may be organized with tags or added to campaigns so we can send confirmations and updates.
Forms: We use Jotform to collect certain submissions (e.g., testimonials). Jotform processes entries on our behalf.
Analytics: We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how people use our site.
Advertising/measurement: We use Meta (Facebook) Pixel to measure ads and build audiences when you allow Marketing cookies.
Payments (if enabled): Payments are handled by a third-party processor (e.g., Stripe/PayPal). We receive payment confirmations but never see full card numbers.
Other tools (as linked on our site): Ko-fi (donations) and Touch of Artisan (shop). If you click those links, their privacy practices apply.
We require service providers to use your information only to provide services to us.
EMAIL CHOICES
Transactional emails: confirmations and important updates related to your inquiry/booking.
Marketing emails: only if you opt in. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in those emails.
COOKIES AND CONSENT
We use CookieYes to show a cookie banner and remember your choices. You can Accept, Reject, or Manage Preferences at any time (look for “Cookie settings” in our footer or banner).
Cookie categories we use:
Necessary – required for the site to function (e.g., security, consent storage).
Functional (Preferences) – remember choices (e.g., form convenience like email or location you provide).
Analytics (Statistics) – help us understand visits and improve the site (Google Analytics 4).
Marketing – help us measure and improve ads (Meta Pixel) and create audiences.
If you Reject non-essential categories, we don’t load those tools. Consent choices apply on your next page view and can be changed anytime via Cookie settings.
Google Analytics (GA4)
We use GA4 to analyze aggregate usage (pages viewed, time on page, etc.). GA4 uses cookies or similar technologies. For more information or opt-out tools, see:
Google Privacy & Terms: https://policies.google.com/privacy
GA Opt-out Add-on: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout
Meta (Facebook) Pixel
If you enable Marketing cookies, Meta Pixel may link your visit to your Facebook/Instagram account (if you have one) to measure ad performance and build audiences. You can control this via our cookie banner (turn Marketing off) and in your Meta ad preferences.
First-party convenience cookies
We may store Functional cookies like email or location (only if you choose to provide that info) to make forms easier to complete next time. These are first-party cookies and do not track you across other websites.
TESTIMONIALS & PHOTOS
When you submit a testimonial or photos, you can grant us permission to feature them on our website, social media, or marketing. You can withdraw permission later by contacting us, and we’ll remove future use (past posts may remain archived or cached by third parties).
“DO WE SELL” AND TARGETED ADVERTISING
We do not sell personal information. If we use targeted advertising (e.g., via Meta Pixel), you can opt out by turning Marketing cookies off in Cookie settings and by adjusting your ad preferences on the relevant platforms.
CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
Our events may be for children, but our website is intended for adults planning the event. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 online. If you believe a child provided personal information, contact us to remove it.
DATA RETENTION
Contact and booking records: kept as long as needed to provide services and for legitimate business purposes (e.g., accounting, resolving disputes) unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
Testimonials/photos: kept while featured and for records; remove upon request for future use.
Cookies: last for their set lifetime (see your cookie preferences in the banner).
